Biography : Andy Mus
Andy Mus has more than 14 years of experience in integrated
investor, corporate and public communications. He has worked
with clients in a wide range of industries covering all areas
of investor relations, including planning, writing, sell-side
analyst and buy-side institutional outreach, investor presentation
development, media/presentation training, perception audits and
financial public and media relations.
In addition to his in-depth
experience in banking and financial services, Mus has a strong background
in the health care and technology industries. He also managed public
and media relations activities for the inaugural Dodge Tour de Georgia,
the premier stage cycling race in the U.S.
As senior vice president
and head of Marsh Communications' Investor Relations practice, Mus
plans, manages and executes comprehensive IR programs and targeted
projects for the company's clients. This includes quarterly earnings
press releases, conference call scripts and reports, investor presentations,
annual report development and writing, sell-side analyst outreach,
investor communications counsel, and numerous other customer- and
investor-oriented communications activities.
Prior to joining Marsh
Communications, Mus served as a vice president at Manning, Selvage & Lee's
(MS&L) Atlanta office, one
of the city's top-5 public relations firms, and its investor
relations subsidiary at the time, PondelWilkinson. He directed
strategic development of investor relations programs and delivered
a full range of investor relations/investor communications services
to corporate clients, as well as financial public relations and
media relations services through MS&L's Corporate practice.
He also managed public relations programs for the agency's corporate,
healthcare and technology clients.
Before joining MS&L/Atlanta,
Mus was head of communications for Strategic Resources Group LLC,
an investor relations firm that specialized in working with newly
public companies. He developed financial communications programs
for clients in a wide range of industries, and was responsible for
strategy development, market and stockholder analysis, financial
media relations and financial Web site counsel.
He was also involved
in planning and executing investor and corporate communications programs
while at Archer/Malmo, the largest advertising and public relations
firm in Memphis, where he won five communications awards for investor
relations programs. Prior to joining Archer/Malmo, he was the press
secretary and campaign spokesperson for Bill Wheeler, a major party
nominee for Congress in Mississippi's first congressional district.
Mus
earned a master's degree in international affairs from the Elliott
School For International Affairs at The George
Washington University in Washington, D.C. He earned his bachelor's
degree in international studies from Rhodes College in Memphis.
He is a former long-time member of the board of directors of Progressive Redevelopment
Inc., the largest independent non-profit developer of affordable
housing in Georgia.
